For the third installment of this four-part webinar series, we welcomed back José Úrbez-Torres, a Research Scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, along with two international guests - Jonathan Kaplan, an economist at Sacramento State University, and David Gramaje, a plant pathologist from the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ICVV) in Rioja, Spain. These individuals presented on the emerging issue of grapevine trunk diseases (GTD) in Canada and internationally - what trunk diseases are, economic impacts, control strategies at the nursery level and young vineyards, and the current situation of GTD in Canada.
